Re-painted – small drawers/bedside cabinet

After huge success with the home-made chalk-paint recently I was itching to get going on a little set of drawers I picked up in a chairty store for just $14.99 (these bits of furniture are even more appealing now knowing that I don’t need to do any sanding) I decided that a ruich bright greeen could possibly do the job nicely. I used Dulux paint colour A268 and I’m so pleased with how it turned out! Just two coats of paint and a little wax and it is completley transformed already! I need to do some more sanding and waxing I think, I’m not 100% happy with the finish as it is at the moment but I’m pretty close.

I love giving a tatty piece of furniture at a bargain price a new lease of life, and it’s such a sweet size too; this chalk paint is going to be used a lot more in this house from now on!
